Responding to Christian Nationalism

with Dr. Darrell Jodock, Emeritus Professor of Religion, Gustavus Adolphus College

We will do a brief review of Christian Nationalism and its problems.  Then we will explore the place Christianity should and should not occupy in our national identity and in the U.S. political process. As part of the discussion, we will identify some ways in which our Lutheran heritage overlaps with our nation’s commitment to freedom of religion and the free exercise of religion.
