GET INVOLVED!
We are approaching an exciting stage of the organ replacement project because it will be very visual! Our Möller organ will be uninstalled January 13-17 and there will be various opportunities to be involved:
-
Provide part of a work crew lunch: A work crew of 16 is a big group to feed! There are a few spots left if you’d like to provide a lunch component. Food should be ready to serve and brought to theSocial Hall by 11:45 am.
-
Help load pipe trays and components into the truck on Friday January 17: You must be able bodied and able to lift 50 pounds
-
Help move debris to the dumpster and with final clean up on Friday: clean up could include vacuuming, wiping down pews, moving smaller items, replacing chairs and getting the worship center ready for Sunday services.
(Please note, loading and clean-up volunteers will be required to sign Nordlie and RLC liability waivers which will be available on-site.)
You can sign up for these opportunities at Volunteer Sign-up.
If you would like to observe the work progress, there will be a viewing area in the balcony Monday afternoon January 13 through Friday morning January 17 so you can stop by and see what’s happening from a great vantage point!
Be sure to check out pictures of progress on our new organ and a short time-lapse video of the Birmingham uninstall at rosevillelutheran.org/organ.
