Dear Readers,

You have made it to the third week of our Gospel of John read-along. These stories are familiar to many, but hopefully you are finding a few new things to teach, inspire and guide you as well.

This week you'll be reading John chapters 5, 6 and 7. In these chapters you'll find:

• The story of Jesus feeding a multitude, and a generous little boy who gets it all started.
• The story of Jesus walking on water. That one is all about faith and trust.
• The first of Jesus "I am" statements. Jesus says, "I am the bread of life." As we keep reading, watch for 6 more of these important statements.

There are 6 devotions written this week by a wide variety of people. They will remind you of the power of Jesus' humility, the power of God at work in our lives, the power of both our questions and our trust, and power we have to endure when we put our trust in God.
