Blessings of the Season!

I hope you are finding joy and peace in this holiday season. I wanted to share this beautiful Advent Beatitude that my friend, Karen Olson, wrote. Karen lives in Oregon and is a Pastor and a Spiritual Director. She shared this with me and gave me permission to pass it along to you.

Advent Beatitude

Blessed are those at a loss; may they be restored.

Blessed are those driven by anxiety; may they be still.

Blessed are those ensuring justice; may they be peaceful.

Blessed are those bearing an increase of labor; may they rest deeply.

Blessed are those engulfed in sorrow; may they heal joyfully.

Blessed are those abiding in loneliness; may they love closely.

Blessed are those lacking what they need; may abundance fill them.

Blessed are those failed by their bodies; may strength renew them.

Blessed are those waiting expectantly; may hope refresh them.

Blessed are those who are lost; may they find the Way.

Blessed are those who walk in darkness; may they see a great Light.

I am praying for blessings and peace to you in this season of advent.
