Earthquake Relief

Gracious God,

We lift up our prayers for the people of Turkey and Syria in the midst of the devastation they have experienced this week. We pray for those who are grieved by the death of a loved one, for those who have lost everything in the destruction and for those who are injured.
 
We pray for a global response to assist those on the frontlines of this emergency. We give thanks for the emergency responders, doctors and nurses, community resources and so many more who have responded to their great need.  May our hearts be opened to their needs and may our hope rest upon you.

We pray this in your holy and gracious name. Our God of comfort and hope. Amen
