Last Sunday, our Cornerstone and Luther League kids made crafts for their homes to help celebrate the Advent season. Advent Activity Day has been a tradition at RLC for the past 30+ years. Many hands are needed to prep the supplies needed for each age group to create these nice projects. 

Ryan Nottestad helped us by cutting some of the wooden nativity figures needed by our 6th grade. Ryan got started woodworking taking classes in high school. Ryan added “Over the last four years, I’ve taken numerous woodworking classes and built some really cool items including the custom workbench that is in the workshop at our house.” When asked why he shared his talent with the Cornerstone kids, he replied “ I wanted to volunteer at church while getting to use my woodworking skills.  This was a fun project that gave me a chance to help out.”  

Ryan masterfully cut 15 sets of the wooden wisemen, sheep and camel pieces that 6 th graders used in their nativity set this year. Thank you for sharing your talent with us Ryan!
