Succeeding at the Word Find Puzzles has sometimes been a challenge. These puzzles contain words that are hidden in-between other letters of the alphabet. It is not just up and down that they are hidden. They also angle upward and downward, even reusing letters from previous word finds.
When immediately gazing at the puzzle, some of the words just pop right out. Then there are some words take a bit longer to find. And then there are other words in the list that I search and search for, sometimes putting the puzzle down for a few hours or a day, hoping for that “ah ha” moment of discovering the long lost word(s)!
In thinking about finding the words in the puzzle and thinking about how God may reveal God’s self to us, a question that I always ask is “Where is God in all of this?” We may find ourselves easily saying that God is very visible and God’s presence is felt through others. Then there are times that we may find it more of a challenge especially during this time of the COVID-19 virus and what feels like constant change and disruption in our routines and patterns. It is also a time where we may experience concern and worry for ourselves and our loved ones. Just like the hard to find words in the puzzle, we may find ourselves feeling that God is hidden from us.
Where is God in all of this? Luke writes in Acts 17:
– Acts 17:26-28.
God is here. It just may take a bit of time to rediscover God working in the world for each of us.
